Since the beginnings of feature animation production at Pixar, story developers have always managed to appeal to audiences of all ages. The colorful and comedic animation keeps children laughing and complex character development and adult themes keep adults engaged in the film along with their children. Pixar’s The Incredibles is full of adult themes such as marriage problems, financial problems and mid-life crisis’s. Parents can relate to the arguments between the husband and wife, and the stress of moving and losing a job, and the dishonesty in the relationship and the fear that the wife has of the husband possibly cheating. These themes, children won’t get til they watch it again when they’re older and it will be an even richer experience. Pixar often does a phenomenal job doing this.
